Have a World Week with Your Family
Are you looking for a meaningful way to connect with your family? Is staring at the television together just not doing it for you? Think about participating in a World Week event.

World Week is a hands-on educational program that you and your family can use to learn about global issues—from health to the environment to justice and peace—from a Christian perspective. Walk a few miles to collect a bucket of water and learn how difficult it is for the women who make that trek several times each day to sustain their families' health. Add up all the trees it would take to provide the energy you use in your house every day. Take in 10 friends and relatives for several days to simulate what it's like to suddenly care for people orphaned by AIDS.

With each activity, World Week offers guides with instructions and questions to talk about together. World Week is a great teaching tool and the perfect chance to share ideas and values and get to know your family in a more meaningful way. To find out about more World Week events and to request guides, visit the World Week website.
